A Grateful Moment: My Art Was Recognized Internationally

In October 2023, I was deeply honored to be featured in The Global Art Times, a respected online magazine based in India that showcases artists from all over the world. At the time, I was living in Qatar, and it meant so much to have my work included among such talented creators from different countries and backgrounds.
Two of my acrylic paintings were selected for the feature: “Eunoia” and “Doha Corniche.” These pieces hold very personal stories for me, and I’m happy to share a bit about them with you.

🌼 Eunoia
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 61 cm x 46 cm
This piece is incredibly special to me. “Eunoia” means beautiful thinking, and it represents my personal journey from anxiety to serenity. The yellow swirling clouds in the background reflect hope the kind that slowly rises through darkness. At the center is a woman with no expression, capturing that quiet longing for peace amidst inner chaos.
Surrounding her is a garden filled with vibrant flowers and plants. For me, nature has always been a source of healing, and I wanted this garden to symbolize growth, resilience, and quiet strength. Eunoia is a gentle reminder that even when life feels heavy, beauty can still bloom from within.

🌆 Doha Corniche
Medium: Acrylic on Canvas
Size: 46 cm x 61 cm
Living in Qatar, I was always captivated by the view of the Corniche. This painting captures the city’s vibrant spirit, the blend of calm and energy that lives between the sea and the skyscrapers. The skyline, the deep blue of the Arabian Gulf, the colors of the city… it was all so alive.
I painted Doha Corniche to reflect the contrast of stillness and movement, peace and progress. It’s a celebration of a place that welcomed me and inspired my creativity.
Being featured in The Global Art Times was such a meaningful experience. I’m grateful for the opportunity and proud to represent Filipino artists on an international platform. Now that I’m back in the Philippines, I carry this moment with me as a reminder that our stories and when shared honestly can travel farther than we imagine.
Thank you for supporting my art and being part of this journey. 💛
